Festie Bestie

Festivals can be intimidating, but are a fantastic way to see many artists for one price.  A Festie Bestie will help you navigate the show, but we won't be helping you surf.

meet and greet

Hi! I'm Kim, founder of My Show Buddy. I've been attending shows for over 35 years, with my very first as a show buddy! My older sister had an extra ticket to see Chicago, and I filled the spot. A few weeks later, it was time for the first concert I'd wanted to see, New Kids on the Block. For that show, my sister was my designated chaperone - my show buddy.

In years that followed, I remember venues having "quiet rooms" for parents to sit without having to watch their kid's favorite music performed live. As an adult, I've attended many shows that draw a younger crowd, and spot parents off in the back of the general admission area, a balcony, or corner, or on their phones wondering when the madness would end. And there I was, in the crowd or on the barricade enjoying the show.

My Show Buddy is here to support the artists who need the fans in attendance; the younger fans who want to go to the show and the parents that don't; and the adults who aren't quite ready to navigate the live music experience solo. Just need help with the details? We got you.

With My Show Buddy, you'll never miss a show.

Thank you! We'll be in touch soon!
